Lee Petrie is the Coordinator of the Exhibitions and Residency Program at The Living Arts Centre Mississauga. Lee holds a Master’s degrees in Art History from Queen’s University and in Museum Studies from the University of Toronto. She develops programming for the six exhibition spaces at the airport and oversees their permanent collection. Lee has curated exhibitions on Canadian craft, photography, and contemporary Aboriginal art. By establishing partnerships with local cultural, arts and heritage organizations such as Open Studio, CONTACT Photography Festival, and the Ontario Crafts Council she has brought some of Toronto’s cultural vibrancy to the airport. She is an active member of the North American Airport Arts group. Lee previously worked as the curator at Toronto Pearson International Airport, public programs at the Varley Art Gallery and the McMichael Canadian Art Collection.
