Susan Cunningham

Long-time member of Open Studio and Toronto artist Susan Cunningham exhibits a series of screen prints begun at a residency at Atelier Graf in Montréal entitled Covering the Story. Cunningham worked with Claude Fortaich the technician at Atelier Graf to create digital prints of dust jackets from 1940’s and 50’s novels. As she silkscreened layers of text, images and textures to obscure the original content, new narratives emerged.
