The Print Process – Drypoint

This group exhibition examines the intaglio medium of drypoint on paper. By drawing directly onto the plate with a steel needle, the artists produce a “furrow” or rough line that leaves metal burrs on either side of the groove. These burrs hold ink and print in a characteristically fuzzy manner. The three featured artists utilize the medium in three distinct styles. Featuring: Paul Cloutier, Sadko Hadzihasanovic and Kurt Pammer. Sadko Hadzihasanovic is represented by Paul Petro Contemporary Art.
