Now Accepting Print Submissions – Artist Proof Sale 2017
Open Studio invites print submissions of artist proofs or monoprints (no editioned prints or bookworks please) for the 33nd Annual Artist Proof Sale fundraiser, taking place on November 30, 2017. Artists may submit up to 4 (four) artist proofs or monoprints.
Deadline for Submissions: November 15
50% of all sales go to the artist, and 50% to Open Studio. The Artist Proof Sale is an important fundraiser for Open Studio, and helps support our vital artistic programming, which includes exhibitions, artist talks, tours, demonstrations, hands-on workshops for the public and professional development opportunities for artists, including affordable studio access, scholarships and residencies.
We ask that artists submit a digital submission form through our website, prior to sending their prints. The digital submission form includes a request for digital images. The images will be used to sell the works in the Artist Proof Sale through our Print Sales website for the duration of the sale, increasing the possibility of selling your work! - Please be advised that you are responsible for picking up or arranging for return of any unsold works.
- Artwork may be picked up between January 10-31, 2018, unless a prior arrangement has been made. We are not able to send reminders; any artwork left after January 31st without prior arrangement will be considered a full donation to Open Studio. No tax receipt will be issued.
- Postage fees for works to be returned by mail must be covered by the artist. Please use only stamps or postage reply coupons; no prepaid, dated postage meter tapes.
