Heather Thomson recently completed her BA in Studio Art at the University of Guelph, along with a minor in History. Primarily based in printmaking, Thomson seeks to integrate her passion for history and art making through a practice that stands as a visual research paper. Her current series, titled the Papiermark Project, is an ongoing investigation of German paper currency from the 1920s. Thomson is working on the series as the 2017-2018 recipient of the Don Phillips Scholarship at Open Studio.
