A/P Holiday Fundraiser Call for Member Submissions

We are excited to announce that we are returning to hosting our annual A/P Holiday Fundraiser!

The submissions call is currently open to Open Studio Members (scroll down to the bottom of the page).

The A/P Holiday Fundraiser is a lively holiday event hosted within Open Studio’s galleries. The fundraiser will include the sale of contemporary prints, multiples and merch. Funds raised will support Open Studio’s artistic programming, including its ability to provide artists with affordable printmaking facilities and services in the heart of downtown Toronto.

As an extension of the A/P Holiday Fundraiser, a Holiday Market will be hosted in the galleries from December 15 – 17. Select artists will be in attendance selling print-related items, with gallery hours extended.

SUBMISSION DETAILS

Apply ONLINE by October 25, 2022, 11:59 pm EST

  • Submissions are treated as full donations (tax receipts will be issued).
  • Works must be valued between $50 – $300.
  • All print mediums welcome: etchings, lithographs, screenprints, etc.
  • Artist proofs are encouraged; editioned prints will be accepted.
  • You can submit up to two works.
  • Works must be unframed.
  • Works must be delivered to Open Studio by November 8, 2022.

Submissions will be treated as full donations. Charitable tax receipts will be issued (upon request) for works sold. Unsold works will be returned/picked up. Please note that submissions are not juried; all print-based work that follows the guidelines below will be accepted until we fill our space.

All artists participating in the fundraiser will also have the opportunity to sign up for a Holiday Market scheduled to run from December 15 – 17 in the galleries. Two artists per table, and there is a limited number of available slots. We’ll also provide access to square readers. This opportunity is first come, first served, and we will follow up with details after the submission deadline (October 25, 2022). All sales during the market portion of the event will go 100% back to the artists.
