A Virtual Auction in Support of Open Studio

FUTURE PROOF is Open Studio’s annual online fundraising auction. The virtual auction will run from May 2-9 and will feature a juried selection of prints alongside a curated collection of contemporary art by artists from the Toronto arts community who support Open Studio.
Open Studio is a charitable organization and an Artist-Run Centre in Toronto dedicated to contemporary printmaking. We offer inclusive and affordable printmaking facilities, programs, and services to artists and the public across Canada and beyond. By participating in this online fundraising auction, bidders can support our mission and help artists of all backgrounds make prints for generations to come!

ELIGIBILITY
🍁 Open to Canadian Printmakers.
🎨 Each artist can submit one piece.
🎁 Submissions are considered donations.*
💵 Artworks must be valued between $200 – $1,000.
🖼️ All traditional print mediums are accepted.**
🔄 Any edition, including monotypes, is welcome.
📏 No specific size restrictions, but consider shipping logistics.
🖼️ Selected works must remain unframed.
ABOUT THE AUCTION
🔍 Print work lots will be selected based on digital submissions.
🏆 50 print works will be in the running for the award(s).
💯 There will be a total of 100 auction lots (prints & other media).
🧐 Award jurying will be conducted in person (after work drop-off).
*Tax receipts are available upon request for donated work.
**Accepted Mediums: All printmaking methods, including mixed media prints, are welcome. Digital prints should incorporate an element of analog printmaking to qualify for the auction and juried award. Solely digital prints, photography, and photocopies will not be accepted. Please evaluate the condition of your work, taking note of any damage such as rips or folds, as pieces with such issues will not be considered.
