Atelier Circulaire Artist Exchange

About
- Annually, one artist member of Open Studio will be selected for a two-week residency at Atelier Circulaire, and reciprocally, one artist member from Atelier Circulaire will come to Open Studio for two weeks.
- It is important to note that while most of our opportunities are open to the public, this specific opportunity is exclusively for our Open Studio artist members. If you are interested in becoming an Open Studio Artist Member, please contact us via email to learn more about the membership process.
- We welcome local, national, and international applications, but we do not provide financial support for travel or accommodation. However, we are happy to provide a letter of support for funding applications to artists accepted into the program.
ELIGIBILITY
- Open only to Open Studio Artist Members (to purchase membership or to renew, please contact us by email)
The artist must demonstrate the ability to work safely in a print studio
Artist members must wait one programming year before applying again to the artist member exchange with Atelier Circulaire
Note: We do not provide financial support for travel or accommodation. However, we are happy to provide a letter of support for funding applications to artists accepted into the program.
BENEFITS
- Two weeks of consecutive access
- Storage included for the duration of residency
- The opportunity to make contacts within Open Studio’s printmaking community
OBLIGATIONS
- Maintain a consistent art production schedule during the tenure of the residency period
- The participating artist will work with Open Studio and Atelier Circulaire to coordinate scheduling
Submissions will be juried, and we will send out notifications approximately eight weeks after the deadline. Please note that due to the high volume of submissions, we are unable to provide individual feedback for applications.
