Members’ Ink is a silent auction of original fine art prints—including etching, lithography, relief, and screenprints—by Open Studio artist members. 50% of the hammer price goes to the artists, and 50% supports Open Studio’s programming, including exhibitions, education, residencies, and professional development and studio access for artists.
The work available in the silent auction represents a range of both emerging and established contemporary Canadian printmakers. Both new and experienced collectors are sure to find something to add to their collections. The event also includes a raffle, live printmaking demonstrations by Open Studio members, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
This year we’re introducing exciting changes, including an announcement of a new partnership with Dorset Fine Arts and silent auction of prints from the DFA collection, and a silent auction of prints by past visiting artists. We will also be launching limited edition tote bags featuring specially commissioned artwork by Annyen Lam, AKA Tiny Blades Project. Bags will be printed the evening of the event and will be available for purchase for $20 each.
Join us on May 3rd for your chance to vie for the silent auction items, or just to join in the festivities!
