Screen Play: Print and the Moving Image
September 11, 2015 – October 10, 2015
Timed to correspond with TIFF, Screen Play: Print and the Moving Image is a group exhibition of artists whose practices incorporate print-based animation techniques, filmic themes and sensibilities, and moving images. From experimental video, to cut paper and stop-motion animations, this exhibition highlights the ways in which contemporary artists are expanding the boundaries of print, combining digital and traditional media to create living narratives from two-dimensional images.
Screen Play: Print and the Moving Image included work by Tara Cooper & Terry O’Neill, Libby Hague, Jennifer Linton, Marina Roy, Ho Tam and Cybèle Young, and is accompanied by an essay by Sarah Todd. Click below to download the brochure.
