Do you collect decorative papers that you insist will come in handy but never use? Chine-collé can help! In this Print Speak session: Chine-collé & Relief Printing, Khadijah Morley shares her work and how she uses Chine-collé in her linocut work, as an alternative method to incorporate swatches of colour or texture without carving an additional lino block. This technique involves adhering thinner papers to the overall piece through the process of printmaking. *note: This is not a hands-on class and no materials are needed.

Khadijah Morley (She/Her) is a Toronto-based emerging artist who works in various media, including painting and printmaking. Through an autobiographical lens, Khadijah’s practice examines issues related to systemic oppression and anti-Black racism.
